Save the date for our opening day!
If you've been following the countdown to our new primary exhibit, Our Community: Past to Present, you know we are two short weeks out from opening! To mark the day, we invite you to join us in celebration and community on Friday, May 6th, starting at 10:00am. See below for a full list of the day’s activities:
- 10:00 am: Opening blessing vocalization by the Bainbridge Island Bahá’ís Faith group
- 1:00 pm: Hand drum song to honor Indipino and Filipino Ancestors facilitated by the Indipino Community of Bainbridge Island and Vicinity.
- 2:00 pm: Spin the wheel to hear from members of the Bainbridge Island Japanese American Community Past to Present. Enter a drawing for a free BIJAC t-shirt.
- 3:30 pm: Remarks by Bainbridge Island Historical Museum staff and refreshments. Catered by Fig & Spice.
The Museum will remain open, free of charge, to the public from 10am-6pm on Friday, May 6. We hope to see you there!
