Frank Abe: We Hereby Refuse

Activist, writer, and film maker Frank Abe presents the history and inspiration for his graphic novel, We Hereby Refuse and his documentary film, Conscience and the Constitution. Abe’s projects give voice to the stories of Japanese American wartime resisters who challenged the constitutionality of their imprisonment in concentration camps, being called up for the draft, and the suspension of their civil liberties.
