Have a successful start in the medium of precious metal clay in this introduction to basic information and techniques at BARN!

Precious Metal Clay (PMC) is made up of fine metal particles, an organic binder, and water. Working with PMC is similar to playing with Play-Doh as it can be rolled, shaped, textured, molded, and carved to your imagination's delight. Pieces are fired in a kiln, which burns off the binder and melts the particles together into a solid metal finished work of art.
