On Sunday, May 7, at 3PM, the Bremerton WestSound Symphony will host its annual Rising Stars Showcase, featuring eight students from our Young Artists Competition held earlier this spring.
Performances include violinist Arlea Forbes-Prater with the Bruch Violin Concerto in G Minor, Cellist Maggie Niven with Saint-Saëns' Cello Concerto No. 1 in A Minor, and winning pianists Cyrus Yan and Damaris Harvey with works by Beethoven, Chopin, and Liszt. Baritone Jack Burrows will sing selections from Songs of Travel by Vaughan Williams and opera arias by Mozart and Donizetti. To view the entire program and bios from all of our performers, please visit our concert page here: All About Our Rising Stars.
