Hearts for Mother's Day Bowl (Afternoon Class)
2 sessions, Tuesday, March 8, and Thursday, March 10
4:30 pm - 6:30 pm

In this two-session class, you will create a beautiful 6-inch fused glass bowl using a fusible wafer (almost like a candy taffy substance) to express your heartfelt sentiments. It is a lovely gift for yourself or someone you love. We will first create a fusible wafer made of glue and glass powder, cut that into a design once it's dry, and then fuse it onto a pre-cut clear 6-inch round shape. Learn more about fusible glass and what happens when it is fired under extremely hot temperatures. OR choose: Evening: 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Read more and register.

Glass Cutting Techniques

Coldworking Intensive

Coldworking is a subtractive way of altering and sculpting glass once it is cold. This process can be anything from seaming edges on glass plates to completely transforming the identity of a hot-formed object. Read more and register.

Glass Studio Orientation

6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

This free orientation session serves as a user's guide to the BARN's Glass Studio. It is a prerequisite for participating in the open studio or for using the studio independently. We'll cover studio etiquette, safety procedures, BARN, and Glass Studio policies, and introduce our tools and equipment. Read more and register.
