Intro to Garden Mosaics - Birdbath
2 sessions, Saturday and Sunday, Feb 26 - 27, times vary.
Create a mosaic birdbath to take home to your garden. The class is designed to teach techniques including base material selection, mosaic design, cutting dishes and tiles to create the visual elements of the mosaic, setting the pieces with mortar, and finally grouting the piece utilizing a traditional mortar and grout process. Introduction to Lost Wax Casting
2 sessions, Saturday and Sunday February 26 - 27, 10am to 3pm
During this course you will be introduced to the process of lost wax casting (starting with a wax piece and finishing with a metal piece). Using an assortment of waxes and materials, students will gain the basic skills of creating models. The techniques of cleaning up and finishing metal casting will also be covered. Patina and Metal Finishes
Saturday, February 26, 2pm to 5pm
Finishes and patinas are a very important but often overlooked part of metalworking. We will explore different finishes and techniques including applied finishes, textures, and heat. Bacon-Wrapped Pork Loin & Glazed Vegetables with Chef JJ
Sunday, February 27, 1pm to 4pm

Tech Talk: First-Person View Drones (Free Event)
Sunday, March 13, Noon to 2pm
Come learn about first-person view (FPV) drones, also known as remote-person view (RPV) drones. The drone is piloted remotely from a first-person perspective via an onboard camera, fed wirelessly to video FPV goggles or a video monitor. This class is free, but registration is required.
