Trowbridge (Seattle) is featured in a large solo exhibition. This body of paintings reflects images, ideas, and methods developed over the past two years as Creative Fellow at the Bloedel Reserve on Bainbridge Island.

About: Kimberly Trowbridge was born in Everett, WA. She is a current Creative Fellow at Bloedel Reserve and will open her first solo museum exhibition at the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art. She is a two-time Neddy Award Finalist (2014, 2016), and an Artist Trust GAP Grant recipient (2014). She received her MFA from the University of Washington in 2006. She is the Director of the Trowbridge Atelier of Painting, at Gage Academy of Art in Seattle. She leads plein-air painting tours in Spain, Portugal, and Twisp, WA.

Trowbridge is a plein-air painter, a figure painter, an installation artist, a performer, and a lecturer on color theory.
