The CVG Featured Artist for June is painter Rose Guastella, featuring her show "Local Waters." The Underground Gallery will be displaying Amy Burnett's salmon-themed work for the Salmon Center The Main Gallery displays a variety of art from all the CVG artists, including new members of the gallery.

These June exhibits run from Wednesday June 8th through Saturday June 25th. The gallery is open Wednesday through Saturday from 11am to 4 pm. First Friday Art Walk with live music is June 3rd from 5pm to 8pm. First Saturday Arts in Action is June 4th from 1pm to 3pm

Featured painter, Rose Guastella
Rose Guastella will feature a selection of oil paintings depicting the Pacific Northwest landscapes and water views from the Pacific Coast of Washington to the inlets, lakes, and estuaries of the Puget Sound region. All places she has visited (and some she sees on an almost daily basis) since she moved to Kitsap County a dozen years ago. Many of the works she is showing are views of the Theler Wetlands reserve in Belfair, to coincide with Amy Burnett's show in the Underground Gallery.

Amy Burnett will be showing her own salmon-themed work as well as an 8' salmon sculpture painted by local artist Juan Rodriguez Proceeds from the sales of Amy's art will go to benefit education programs at The Salmon Center in Belfair, WA. Anyone making a donation to The Salmon Center will receive a free print from Amy's collection.
