Visiting the Kitsap Forest Theater is an absolute blast! Located in a 460 acre Rhododendron Preserve between Seabeck and Bremerton, Washington, this enchanting and natural amphitheater is surrounded by giant fir trees and ferns. The Mountaineers Players host performances here every spring and summer and provide summer day camps for kids!
Audience attendees park near the entrance (3000 Seabeck Highway), either in the designated parking area or alongside Seabeck Highway on both sides. Visitors walk down the driveway towards the ticket stands and then down the path of big trees. Along the path are props here and there that spotlight different themes of the upcoming performance. In some locations, you can hear Chico Creek!
In addition to walking, there is a shuttle that can drive patrons to the back of the theater. If a patron can't walk up the steep hill to the seating area, then the theatre can provide a wheelchair to assist.
