Photo of May in the Kitchen at BARN

Hi everyone and welcome to the latest edition of the Kitchen Arts newsletter. We have a very busy May coming up and I wanted to mention a couple of classes that I'm particularly excited about.

Chef Sandra is back with a new class highlighting the national dish of Brazil, Feijoada. This class is going to be a blast and your taste buds will go on quite the journey. Feijoada is a black bean stew made with pork and beef, served with rice, oranges, and collard greens. All of BARN certainly will smell amazing on May 13.

I'd also like to welcome back Stephen Schreck, who is bringing back his popular Oyster Happy Hour on May 19. You'll learn a lot about oysters while trying multiple varieties from our local waters.

We also have room left in a few other classes going on this month, but the spots are filling up fast! Christopher Gronbeck will kick off his wine series with Wine 101: Up Your Wine Game, and on Mother's Day, you can make pies with Elisa Laverty.
