On Sunday, May 7, at 3PM, the Bremerton WestSound Symphony will host its annual Rising Stars Showcase, featuring eight students from our Young Artists Competition held earlier this spring. The performance happens at North Point Church, located at 1779 NE Hostmark Street in Poulsbo.

Performances include violinist Arlea Forbes-Prater with the Bruch Violin Concerto in G Minor, Cellist Maggie Niven with Saint-Saëns' Cello Concerto No. 1 in A Minor, and winning pianists Cyrus Yan and Damaris Harvey with works by Beethoven, Chopin, and Liszt. Baritone Jack Burrows will sing selections from Songs of Travel by Vaughan Williams and opera arias by Mozart and Donizetti. To view the entire program and bios from all of our performers, please visit our concert page here: All About Our Rising Stars.

Box office at the venue opens one hour in advance of concert start time, or purchase tickets online or call 360-373-1722. A light reception will follow this one-hour concert. Additional cash donations at this concert will benefit CK Backpacks 4 Kids.
