Performance art at Bainbridge Island Museum of Art.

Saw an interesting performance at BIMA (Bainbridge Island Museum of Art), on Saturday, February 4th, which incorporated Sarah Fetterman’s ‘Lost in the Familiar’ art installation.

The evening started out with light refreshments in the BIMA Bistro, with attendees viewing artwork through the main floor and second floor before the first performance.

Sarah Fetterman orchestrated the event, which involved Christin Call performing an interactive dance in the installation while Melanie Granger chanted, and Katie Kuffel delivered precise notes on the cello. Two performances, one at 6:00 pm and one at 7:00 pm lasted ten minutes.

BIMA is located at 550 Winslow Way East. Located next to BIMA is the Kids Discovery Museum (KiDiMu), along with the Bainbridge Brewing Alehouse, Agate restaurant, and the Fletcher Bay Winery Tasting Room.
