Create your own story of a memory, an important life experience, or a meaningful expression of who you are using appliqué, embroidered wool, fabric layering, and embellishments under the guidance of Sue Spargo. She'll use fiber-related exercises to spark your creativity and expression during this five-day workshop adventure, where you'll build the foundation of your piece, incorporating hand-dyed velvet, cotton fabrics, and specialty fabrics.

You'll learn new techniques for using wool appliqué and multi-medium layering to narrate your story and bring your piece to life through dimensional stitchery with thread and other imaginative embellishments that help to express your special story. Over the course of this personally meaningful workshop, you'll become more skilled at making your fiber ideas and designs come to life.

This happens from May 13th through May 17th. In addition to the five days of class, lunch and a light afternoon snack will be provided each day and is covered by the materials fee included in your registration cost. More information and registration here.
