After a truly wonderful summer, all of us at Bainbridge Performing Arts Theatre School are casting our sights to September; a new season, a new school year, and the start of an exciting new journey. This year, we’re offering students a program of weekly Theatre Arts classes, exciting performance opportunities, and a platform for creativity, discovery and inspiration. Little Theatre: Ages 4-5
Wednesdays, 10:00-11:30am, Sept 21st-Nov 9th (8 weeks).
These classes will offer our youngest students a fun introduction to theatre and performing arts, exploring acting, movement, singing and storytelling. This will be an excellent platform for engaging young imaginations, and exploring emotions, empathy and mindfulness. Register Now

Theatre Arts 1: Ages 5-7
Mondays, 1:30-3:00pm, Sep 19th-Nov 7th (7 weeks, no class on Halloween).
Theatre Arts 1 will offer students the chance to learn performance skills, build confidence and work collaboratively. We’ll explore a range of performance crafts, including acting, improv, movement and singing. These classes will help students discover the joy in taking their place on stage, and encourage positive connections - to the work, to themselves and to each other. Register Now

Theatre Arts 2: Ages 8-10
Tuesdays, 3:00-4:30pm, Sept 20th-Nov 8th (8 weeks).
These classes will focus on a range of performance skills, offering students the chance to develop more in-depth knowledge of performing arts techniques. Students will work on choreography, scene studies, improv techniques, and group singing. With a strong focus on working collaboratively, students contribute to an environment of compassion, kindness and support. Register Now

Theatre Arts 3: Ages 11-13
Wednesdays, 4:00-6:00pm, Sept 21st-Nov 9th (8 weeks).
In these classes, students will have the opportunity to take a deep dive into acting and performance techniques. We’ll be covering topics such as character development, script analysis, the collaborative craft of improvisation and more. Students will be encouraged to take creative risks, to find their unique voice and to offer support and encouragement to their fellow performers along the way. Register Now

Foundations in Acting and Performance for Teens: Ages 14-18
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:30-6:30, Sept 27th-Nov 17th (8 weeks/16 sessions).
This course will take students on a journey of analyzing human experience, finding emotional connections to the work and deepening empathetic perspectives. To support this experience, we’re committed to ensuring Theatre School is a safe space for everyone to be their authentic selves, and take creative risks without fear of judgment. Register Now

Improv for Adults
Sundays, 2:00-5:00pm, Sept 18th-Oct 23rd (6 weeks).
Whether this is your first time, or you're an experienced improv performer, these classes will provide a fun and supportive platform to explore this exciting and collaborative craft. Led by Improv expert and member of The Edge, Todd Erler. Register Now
