The Kingston Community Advisory Council invites the public to join their meeting that takes place virtually 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 9. The agenda and meeting link are posted at http://kcowa.us/KingstonCAC.
This month's meeting features presentations on:
- Kitsap Wi-Fiand its local support of fiber-fast wireless Internet access with Andrew Horton.
- Our Forest Fund, an effort to raise funds to purchase timber rights in the Port Gamble Forest Heritage Park, with Lynn Shorn.
- An update on the Sound-to-Olympic Trail with David Forte, transportation planner with Kitsap County Public Works.
Coming up later this month, the Kingston Community Advisory Council sponsors the Kingston Community Conversations. The third session of a three-part series is scheduled from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 19, held virtually via Zoom. Join informal conversations between community members to share concerns, ideas and questions. Break-out sessions will focus on:
- Effective community communications
- Crime and safety.
- Economic vitality.
- Welcoming community.
